I bought this DVD player to host a DVD study Bible study group at my home. When I tested it before a group meeting, it worked for 15 minutes and then stopped. He always said "No slice". Well I hate to tell you but yes there is a disc. I tried several movies and workout DVDs to see if he would read anything. nope Worst of all, I missed the return window because we never watch DVDs and I only needed them for a Bible study that was only a month after receiving the DVD. Why only a 30 day return window?! GRRRR
