It's been years since I've waited tables but I appreciate there's plenty of room for stuff, it's easy to keep order and there is no trouble taking orders without looking dirty. You can do a few checks after your tables are cleared, leave some loose change, and this wallet should hold up in even the roughest hospitality environment. I used it as a police officer on a walk. Even with fairly rough use I found many of the pockets to be sturdy, they made things easy to organize and while most cops only have a cheap notepad and pen, I highly recommend using some sort of notepad protector to keep you looking good a bit more professional, although of course nowadays these interactions usually take place over the phone. .
