manufacturing defect.
They do not fit tightly on the distributor cap. One side clamps, but the other side of the clamp doesn't reach far enough. This is a manufacturing defect. I didn't find the problem until I soldered the 12v ignition and revs wires. I fasten it with a plastic band. I wish I had bought a better device.
