I wouldn't recommend these.
My daughter received these as a gift. We displayed them as shown in the picture (air plants nested in a small amount of decorative pebbles). After about 15 minutes I heard a crash and discovered that the twine they hang from had broke and it was shatter on the floor. The twine is very thin and won't support the weight with them hanging. The bottoms are rounded so you can't set them on a flat surface. I wouldn't recommend these.
