Review on 🎡 HOTT CD903TF: Portable CD Player for Car with Bluetooth FM Transmitter – Rechargeable Touch Button Backlight Display in Black by Charles Fowler

Most Helpful: Portable audio and video device

I just got this audio CD player today but believe me I tried it myself. My new car doesn't have a CD player (obsolete I assume) or even an analogue input. I wanted a way to play the many CDs my wife and I have collected since 1984, so I ordered this HOTT CD player, the only portable player on the market that not only has Bluetooth output, but also FM -Exit. All in all I was impressed. I've learned to avoid rock and jazz settings (although I listen to both) as they tend to distort loud passages. Other settings, with a bit more volume if necessary, are more desirable. I had no luck at all with the Bluetooth transmitter, but the full stereo FM transmission worked well. I found a radio setup that didn't have another station and hooked it up to the radio in the car. The best overall tone for a radio show, regardless of music genre, seemed to come from the "Classic" (rock) EQ setting (other tone settings sounded like bad radio shows, with the exception of "Flat" [no boost], which isn't loud enough for the street ). // I was afraid of unintentionally skipping, but in the car the automatic skipping protection (ASP, always "on") worked great even on bumps and tight corners. However, this would not have been a good athlete as severe shaking would cause him not to jump well. // I couldn't skip or play songs with the FM station because the forward and backward "skip" buttons became setup buttons. If I tried to skip a song, I would instead jam the station and lose the music. // Of course, the headphone jack (1/8 inch analogue) worked without any problems and produced excellent sound quality. Probably the best option would be to plug your music into the stereo jack if possible, but otherwise it would be nice to have an FM option. // This little CD player/transmitter has limitations, but overall it offers unique features that make it very suitable for in-car use. For motorists without analog sockets in the car, it costs money. Try it! // IMPORTANT NOTE AFTER THE SCRIPT: After using and becoming familiar with this player for a while, I wrote a BETTER review, although I think I wrote it about the wrong HOTT product (oops!). I changed that '4' to '5' because after the 'learning curve' it's really easy to use and the FM broadcast works great with high quality stereo sound! Just find a free radio station and tune your transmitter and receiver to it and you're done. I still can't use bluetooth but the FM output allows it to be used with ANY system that has an FM radio. This function is currently unique to HOTT; It's also added some other thoughtful features that, while not exactly unique, make them perfect for in-car use (but they can be used anywhere). Overall, applicability to new cars without CDs and analog audio inputs is worth it.
