Glad to find this product. I have an (old) favorite coat and the zipper works great, but the flap has long since broken off. I used a safety pin as a pull, but sometimes when I pulled the zipper the pin would open (oops). Then I found this product and thought it would be the solution. But I had a few problems with these sheets. First, it was difficult to use a spring mechanism to insert the open end through the slider's head; then it was too thick to fit in the loop of the slider. I broke two tabs to get it right. I finally had a brilliant idea - I used a small metal key ring and I was able to thread it through the crown, after which I could just attach the third pull tab to the pusher. Not trendy, but it worked. At some point during the day while taking my coat off and on, my tongue fell off. I think the spring mechanism springs by itself. But I have a solution: the photo shows the detachable key ring is still there and I added an unused dog ID. Works perfectly. But I'm sorry I didn't think of that first.
