Review on Kopack Waterproof Backpack: Perfect Business Compartment for Professionals by Brittany Lawrence

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Painfully uncomfortable

I took the risk of replacing my excellent Samsonite Novex, which is now quite expensive, with this cheaper (in terms of price and quality) Kopack. It was a big mistake. First off, there are some basics that make it less useful for business use. The front pocket has a vertical zipper, so things fall out and don't fall into the pocket. Also, there is no dedicated space for folders, binders or books. But it would still deserve three stars if the materials weren't so poorly measured and stitched together. As you can see from the photos, there is too much material between the pads on the back; so it's propped down and resting on my back (the material between the pads comes out farther than the raised pads). It's by far the hardest and thickest material used to make a backpack (the rest are relatively light and flexible), making it almost impossible to iron out. That's how it is without anything in it. Throwing in a laptop or notebook will only make matters worse. I actually get back pain when I wear this; I can use it in the office, but I will definitely never take it on a trip. Wearing it for more than a few minutes will cause more than temporary pain.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Periodicity
