I will buy the fifth set of these wonderful lamps! So we decided to replace our living room fixtures with recessed lighting. They were so easy to install (no glass!/no loft crawl!) and they've made such a huge transformation that we just keep buying more to transform more rooms. Light colour/intensity: The light is soft but bright. They dim completely almost to darkness (see photo) or can completely illuminate a room. The room in my photos is 20ft x 35ft just to give you an idea of the lighting possibilities. Please excuse the belly aos! Easy to Install: Couldn't be much easier. We selected the locations and then guided the Romex from the existing light to the first hole for the recessed lights. Then from that light to the next place and so on. Very easy. Mounting clips hold the light in place, no glue or extra clips required. Cost: No other store can match the price, and most importantly, I have yet to find a light with a built-in junction box that doesn't require glass. how is it. A clear plus in simplicity and price. Placement: We offset the lights about 6 feet apart in a diamond pattern. Most DIY guides suggest they are 4 feet apart, but that might be overkill with these lights. The manual I've read says to keep the light 36 inches away from walls and focal points. We chose 31" to center it with windows, doors, fireplace, etc. Overall, this is one of the best home improvement purchases (out of thousands) on Revane!
