When using high-performance adhesive, ALWAYS INSTALL WITH THE WHITE SIDE FACING THE INSTRUMENT. The red side must face the bracket. I made this mistake the first time and the glue came off after a few minutes. I contacted the seller to ask if they could send me a new glue and they sent me a brand new product. The second time I glued it tight and it hasn't bounced since. The seller didn't specify the correct installation method, but since the chance was 50/50, he did the opposite the second time around. I used a lower dash mount to keep the automatic Echo out of the way. Works fine for what I need. Better than the vent mount that came with the Echo machine.
