🚗 OLAIKE Car Mount for Auto – Bendable Base with 3M Tape for Universal Dashboard Usage Review

I followed the instructions up to the T. I made sure the bracket was bent exactly to the shape of the dash. Is it stuck? A little, but then slowly goes away. So. I don't even know what to do. I thought about putting superglue between the glues to make it stick 🤷‍♀️

As the one that came with Echo Auto didn't work on my vents I bought this and am very glad I did. It was so easy to install and works great. If you have the same problem of not being able to attach to the air vents, oh I highly recommend you get this one.

I live in southwest Georgia where it is typically hot and sometimes unusually hot. I followed the install instructions and had no issues with it still sticking to the dash. I don't use my vents because I don't need them blocked - I need all my hair! 😉 If you're buying Echo for a car, I highly recommend it.

Perfect fit, easy assembly and so far the standard glue has held up well even in extreme heat. Much better solution than the standard mount that comes with Echo. I installed it upside down under my radio and it makes the echo almost invisible except when it lights up. The Echo easily stays in place even when flipped over.

Attach this to the front of the center armrest in my 2011 Honda Pilot, works great (Aux and USB ports for Echo Car are in the armrest, so that was the best place for it). This makes the automatic echo in the car more accurate and it can still hear and recognize my voice, very happy with this mount.

Instructions on how to use adhesive strips are mostly incomprehensible in the instructions. The same strip has two different sides and the instructions don't indicate which side to put it on the car. I thoroughly cleaned the surface and waited the recommended amount of time before attaching the Echo Auto to the mount. After 1 day the adhesive came off and was no longer applied. Do not buy.

I wish this came with the original Echo car because this mount is much better, less bulky and makes more sense. I was able to tape it under the switch so it didn't get in the way of the air vents and the cables didn't get everywhere. Glue isn't the best. It goes up a bit, but it comes with extras, and I just press the mount when I want to start the car and it hasn't fallen off yet. I also angled it down so I'm pretty sure it won't go up if you mount it on top of the dash.

When using high-performance adhesive, ALWAYS INSTALL WITH THE WHITE SIDE FACING THE INSTRUMENT. The red side must face the bracket. I made this mistake the first time and the glue came off after a few minutes. I contacted the seller to ask if they could send me a new glue and they sent me a brand new product. The second time I glued it tight and it hasn't bounced since. The seller didn't specify the correct installation method, but since the chance was 50/50, he did the opposite the second time
