This veil does not match the advertisement. The jagged edges are not as large as they appear in the photo and the edge is rough leaving a lot of loose strands and tousled. The size of the shells can be seen in the first photo. The second shows poor quality edging/trimmings as well as uneven stitching. The last photo of the pattern. The pattern is not bad but the material is rough and itchy. I was planning to use it for my wedding but instead I will gift it to another Catholic friend and order another mantilla for my wedding.
