This mattress topper is very thick and feels very durable. We bought this to keep my daughter's full size feather block clean and dust free. The fit is good and it's actually a bit bigger than I thought it would be. I thought it would fit snugly in the mattress but there is plenty of extra room around the sides and edges. Maybe it's because we're rolling the box spring and not the mattress, but I think the fit will be the same either way. Stink bugs and other critters that might want to climb into the bag, so I taped everything in place. I will also wrap the edges with cardboard as we will be storing it in a basement with a concrete floor. I wouldn't say it's necessary, but in the event that we eventually move it and drag it across the floor, I don't want any cracks in the plastic. Overall, this is a quality case that I would recommend.
