I bought this soymilk blender earlier this year and it worked great until one day it shut itself off while blending. I was so sad because it was very tasty when it worked. Watch the video - sometimes it turns off after a few seconds and sometimes after a few minutes. The problem occurs every time I use it and the soy milk mode stops working (it takes 25 minutes to complete the soy milk mode). Now I can only use it for smoothies/beans, which also requires me to stand by and watch it gently press my finger and turn it back on when it turns off. It's a bit annoying but that's the only thing I can do with this blender at the moment, no soy milk! :(I tried to fix this but when I look at the policy on the Instantpot website it says you can ONLY get the guarantee if you register within 30 days of purchase which I didn't Now I'm stuck on this semi- I've been working on a blender that only lasted 6 months If you're ready to buy it, stop by in time! I'd say if a smoothie or something quick is the only drink is you making, do it.If anything is hot or requires a long cook time (soy milk for me) forget it.I've also read bad reviews before about the heat melting the plastic on the bottom, I can confirm this was not the case for me but this shutter issue may have something to do with the heater component who knows.
