Very easy to assemble in less than 5 minutes, only the tools needed (hex key) are included. My stool didn't have much odor as mentioned in other reviews. The legs are nicely chromed metal, no plastic except for the wheels. After using it for about a week I have to say the chair is comfortable, meets all my needs and the vinyl is easy to clean. Oddly enough, when I take my back off the backrest, the chair makes a noise like gel or some kind of liquid is moving after I change positions. This only happens after sitting in one position for a long time. Returning is not enough. I am very happy with this chair, it looks great, is comfortable and is great value for money.
