Great carry-on for organized travel

I travel a lot for work and was looking for a bag that could do three things. This meets most of the reviews. Overall, this is a great airplane companion for people who like to stay organized. Pros: Cut! The bag has three main compartments. 1) Laptop sleeve - the sleeve is suitable for laptops up to 15 inches. Thinner profiles fit better; I had a tough time installing my personal gaming laptop, but I was able to safely install it in the end. 2) large main compartment - great for changing shoes when going to a client's office or for storing small packing cubes of clothes. 3) Swiss army bag - this one is a bit thinner but I keep my wallet, keys, sunglasses and battery in it. Two small zippered front pockets are perfect for storing your boarding passes and passport to keep you organized. The expandable side pocket is a great feature, but I had no problem getting my water bottle in the bag without unzipping it. Light! It is very light and not too bulky when folded. This is important if for any reason I need to pack my checked baggage. Baggage carousel! This was one of the biggest selling points for me. I wish more bags had a simple strap on the back so you could put the backpack on top of your luggage with the pull handle. Cons: Appearance. I bought the backpack in black. This is one eye-catching bag, love the fun lining and little faux leather accents. I just want it to look a little less campus and a little more professional. It's hard to find a professional-looking bag that's designed for constant travel and will comfortably fit a laptop and all your carry-on essentials on an airplane. It's even harder to find one at a reasonable price (I'm looking at you Toomey). I ended up removing the zippers which softens the look. That's not very convenient. The straps are soft but not supportive so I can see how walking a moderate distance can lead to shoulder/back pain.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Low maintenance
