Meets my purpose at least.

only works for single shots on my canon rebel t7. When I switch to burst mode, the remote takes too many shots and locks my camera even if I turn it off. When I turn the device back on, it continues to take pictures. I just got a Canon T8i, tried this remote and got the same result. piece of trash. If I hadn't thrown the box away, I would have gone back. Guilty!
