The characteristics say that there is no smell, but there is a slight but pleasant smell. Colorless on my mustache. No need to heat with a hair dryer which is a plus. You may need to reapply later in the day, and you can purchase a mustache comb to help with that. As I'm just starting to grow Yosemite Sam's mustache, I'm excited to see how this wax will hold it in place. So far, so good. In addition, a small line works for unruly eyebrows.
