Works well if you need or want to use HDMI with your Wii.
We recently bought a new TV and it has no component or composite ports. HDMI only. I bought this as it was the cheapest I've seen and haven't had any issues so far. Plugs straight into the Wii and then I connected an HDMI cable (not included) to the adapter and then to the TV. It works as it should. I wouldn't say you're getting an insanely good video, but it works.
