it was the perfect device for me

I swear I've already reviewed it. Either Revane is confused or I am. But let's start. I chose this model mainly based on the Consumer Reports review and its price. Actually, it was the perfect device for me. I already have a powerful laptop, good tablet, etc. I needed something that could act as a thin client via VMware (it can) but other than that it's basically a browser. It matches this account. Because it's inexpensive, it's not a complete tragedy if it's stolen or lost. Since it's secure, I don't have to worry about my data being exposed (except for the Gmail account, and the account I use to access it isn't my main Gmail). When I'm on the go, this is the right device to transfer photos from my camera (it has an SD slot) to my USB sticks. It's also thin and light, and I love the ChromeOS touchpad. So far, battery life is very good, and the spacing between the keyboards is just enough to make typing relatively comfortable (in fact, that's what I'm writing this review about). Obviously this is not a real computer. Games (unlike browser games I guess. I don't play them) are almost never discussed. You cannot download traditional apps, only apps and browser extensions. The video quality is satisfactory at best. For me these are all pluses as I don't have anyone willing to borrow. But I see that this will not meet the needs of many. YMMV.

Cons
