I was making Thai tea and it was difficult for me to make it in bulk. 2 cups of tea for 7 cups of tea seems inefficient. I was able to do this without all of the tea leaves getting back into the mix. You can also squeeze excess liquid out of the tea while it's in the filter. Love it. I recommend waiting for the tea leaves to cool before squeezing them.
