Replacement media for a great filter. Febreze filter models that use this cartridge are unique in that they do not ionize the air to clean it. The devices simply pick up dust and odors mechanically. I don't like ionized dust particles as they tend to stick to some devices that I'd rather leave clean. This replacement filter media works great. I can get about 5 months of work from one filter with the installation running almost continuously. I have a large floorstanding model and it helps circulate the air in my combined living room and kitchen. This filter material effortlessly removes kitchen odors from your kitchen. You do not need additional fragrance cartridges to filter odors. Replacement filter cartridges are a bit pricey, but given their long lifespan, they're actually cheap. A box of 2 should last almost a year. Half as much if you have a larger filter model that uses two cartridges. That's a lot of services you get for money. Clean air is important for allergy sufferers. There are other brands of filters that require a new cartridge every 30-60 days. Your cartridge may be cheaper, but you end up paying more because they need to be replaced more often. This filter media will last a long time as it is a large unit with a large surface area. It can catch a large amount of solids before the flow stops. Note. The larger model requires two cartridges. You can try to save money by only replacing one cartridge at a time. In other words, rotate the cartridges to be replaced. However, this can mean that a new cartridge will foul faster as airflow tends to take the path of least resistance. I haven't tried this approach, but if savings are important to you, you can certainly try it. Highly recommended.
