Based on my experience I cannot and will not recommend this product. First, the seller's product description contained misinformation/conflicting information about the application/installation of this product. Second, spending $65 on a professional and reputable locksmith to program and "cut" the key won't work. The key was not electronically syncing to the computer on my 2007 Nissan Xterra. To compound the injury, I had to spend another $55 to buy another blank key from the locksmith that was guaranteed to work. The locksmith programmed it, cut it out and it worked like clockwork! The locksmith warned me in advance that many of these keys bought from discount stores (China) may or may not work. Also, they warned me in advance that I would have to pay to program it and cut MY blank even if it didn't work. They offered me $55 for giving me a blank transducer key to program and "cut out". The choice was mine. Relying too much on my misplaced confidence in the Revain vendor's product, I decided to use a locksmith program and carved "my" blank key. Obviously I made the wrong decision by purchasing the Revain Vendor Key. Never! At the moment I have not tried to program the fob that I bought with the key. To be honest, I'm NOT sure if this will work either! Do yourself a big favor. Just go to a reputable locksmith with a shop and buy the key you need and ask them to do the necessary work to get a working key with a guarantee.
