Review on 🧤 Wells Lamont 1430XL Winter Leather Gloves by Doug Davis

Just put them on while we cleared another 8 inches of snow from our driveway and sidewalks up and down the block. I did NOT feel any cold. Very comfortable and warm. Enough dexterity to shovel, use a snow blower, etc. You can simply press the keys on the garage keypad through the front of the gloves. The cuffs are snug and fit nicely under the cuffs of my jacket. tipped container of water and dipped a glove into it, stopping about an inch from the cuff. I measured the time. Was completely dry for 20 seconds then water started seeping through the back. After 30 seconds my hand was wet. It's actually a lot better than I expected. Moisture doesn't penetrate through the palm or the seams, so they're fine for normal use. When working in wet snow conditions, getting the backs of your gloves wet can be a problem. I'll try treating them with some leather sealer - of course the trade-off is that the mittens can trap sweat. I also dipped my hands in the snowdrift (with mittens of course) and even after a few minutes I didn't feel the cold. So, yes, they work surprisingly well.
