Oh my god, my little machine works almost like an expensive serger with it! Maybe someday I'll get one, but until then I'll use this overlock foot. It can simultaneously sew a seam and overcast seam allowances to prevent fraying. Keep in mind that to do this in one go, you'll need to trim your seam allowances to 1/4" since most seam allowances are 1/2" to 5/8". But you definitely shouldn't so use this just saves you from switching from one sewing foot to another Fits my standard Brother JX2517 I will be carrying plenty of these.
