My son needs hiking shoes for science camp. He is wearing size 6.5/7 shoes. I bought more for a snug fit and this is how they will fit for a while. It's super cozy. The side buckles are a bit fiddly. One of the plastic pieces came loose as soon as he tried to put it on. It's just plastic so I was able to glue it back in place. They worked for what he needed them for. After a science camp he now uses them for paintball and does a great job! If the side buckles were upgraded to metal and made stronger I would give 5 stars. Overall not a bad shoe.
