Review on 🌿 COLE & MASON Fresh Herb Keeper: Efficient Container for Preserving Clear-Cut Herbs by Brian Kumar

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Gourmet Approval - Purchased based on an America's Test Kitchen review

We are a foodie family and due to health issues we have been extremely isolated during the pandemic. I take a 'better safe than sorry' approach to risk reduction, which means all groceries are stored in the fridge in the garage for 3 days before being brought indoors. Unfortunately, this meant that if we were able to find fresh herbs (which was difficult), by the time we brought them they were already dead or dying and we had very little time to use them. I bought this herbal screensaver after a long research. American Test Kitchen gave it their top rating and I thought "for the price it's worth a try" and it was really worth it. We put in spring onions, parsley and dill first and all three stayed in perfect condition for 3 weeks. I bought some spring onions this week and when we got them they were a little "fragile". I figured there wouldn't hurt to try, so I cleaned them up, cut them just long enough to fit, and glued them in place. 2 days later they perked up straight away and we have been there for almost a week now and they are in as good condition as when they arrived. I don't write reviews very often, but this was one of my best purchases on Amazon. We rarely have to throw herbs away, so they more than pay for themselves. We've also started indoor gardening with Aerogarden and if this continues we might need a second herb keeper! It's not uncommon, but cooking in quarantine just got a lot more fun. 5 out of 5 recommend.
