This is the 3rd brand of HDMI splitters I've tried and the 4th overall (2 first brands and 1 second brand). The first three splitters were brought back because the first two lost signal from time to time and the TV went black for almost a minute while the second brand picked up no sound at all. So I decided to try another one and ordered OREI. Splitter V1.4. SUCCESS! I've been using it for a week now and it has never let me down! I bought a 4K device even though I don't have a 4K TV. It connects to a Directv HR54 Genie as an input, and one output goes to a VIZIO TV and the other to an HDMI RCA switch. I hope my review doesn't jinx my success, but I highly recommend this product as an HDMI switcher. especially if you have directv and have problems with other hdmi splitters as i read in some other product reviews,
