Amazing device! with a small flaw.

I love this device! I bought this as a bundle to turn my new Surface Pro 7 into a complete portable powerhouse and this hub station is a big part of that. So here's my setup: I bought a USB-C charger that I plug into this device, this device plugs into my Surface Pro 7 to charge the battery. It then connects to the local network, a USB portable hard drive (3.0 speed, by the way!) and my Blu-ray player. The whole thing is then connected to at least 1 TV VIA HDMI, sometimes I also use the projector via the VGA connection. Did I mention all of this happens while the tablet is charging? This is my fixed installation when I'm mobile. I'm happy to say that I can use this device without an outlet, I just plug it into a USB-C port and boom, it works. One point unrelated to the device failing is that the external HD and Blu-ray draw too much power to power USB-C on the surface. But mouse/headset etc. are all satisfied. To add to the fun, this device works on my Samsung S10+, I haven't tried it with the outlet, but when I plug it into the phone and connect devices, the phone can see HDMI, VGA, power cord and external HD. ARM processors don't know what to do with Blu-ray, so I suspect it might work and would also require external power. The device is truly a one stop solution for most of my needs. The only bad thing about all of this now is that I had a cable on the device that was only a few inches longer, so it's hooked up to my tablet's USB-C port. This is easily remedied by buying an extension cord, but if the cord that came with it was twice as long as the one that comes with it, this would be the perfect device!
