I have to hold my Samsung Galaxy S9 by the handlebars for a combination of Maps, Urban Biker (to track my route) and a quick look at my inbox (I always film the road to send) . It was very easy to attach to the grid. Holds well, holds the phone well. It uses rubber bands on the corners to hold the phone very securely. This requires a little more effort to connect the phone, but increases confidence that the phone is secure. Of course, given the rubber (or rubber-like) material, I understand that the lifespan can be shortened. If it lasts 1-2 years I'll be happy. I'll drop it at this point and look for a (then newer) device.
