Hello, this was my first day using these lights. I got a bit frustrated when the remote didn't work because the only reason I bought the 59ft was because of the remote. It didn't take me long to figure out how to fix the remote control. If your remote control doesn't work, you should try the method. If you shake the remote and hear something, it's a small metal thing that probably ripped off the remote and I think it has something to do with the (-) battery. Here's what I did: I took out the battery along with the holder and there will be a tab at the top that's secured with paper for you to use the modes. I pryed it out with tweezers and took everything off to open the panel. - I have a small screwdriver that I have for attaching glasses, it's small enough to unscrew the nails on the panel - you'll find a small tab (the metal tab in the photo) that leads to the square spot I made have circled. I used some school glue to attach it. Attach according to the direction from my photo. There is a small slot on the sides of the square that fits into the piece of metal. And then just put everything back in and mine is ready to go. I know my english description is not so good and easy to understand. But I hope you find it useful to fix your remote control.
