I have been using WFH on a laptop and an external monitor with the laptop's built-in mouse for more than 1 year. My work involves entering large amounts of data and scrolling through Excel spreadsheets, as well as pointing and clicking on websites. My fingers were killing me. I needed to get back to the office and had access to a mouse and it was like OMG my work is much easier with an external mouse. The mouse is ergonomic and ideal for wireless connections. Just plug in the little USB chip, turn it on and you're good to go. Definitely worth it.
