Great Concept - Terrible Design/Material

While designing/building the tailgate for my WR250RI I noticed these adjustable label holders. It seemed like a great concept. Upon receipt: The first thing I noticed was that the materials used were too thin. Gauge steel is "fair" but not "excellent". Adjustment: Yes, the angle is adjustable, but any kind of shock or vibration would throw things off balance. The through pin [nut and bolt] they use is too small and flimsy for a good grip, and on top of that the two main plates are only held in place with a pin with a twisted section of metal. This vortex area immediately spreads out and causes a strong movement from side to side. no Will not work. Maybe for a bike, but not for everyday on-road and off-road riding. Of course I can't complain for the price. Anyway, it was a decent template for me to build a better one.

Pros
  • PREMIUM QUALITY: Made of high quality aluminum alloy, this adjustable tail light license plate holder is strong, resists aging and abrasion, providing maximum strength and durability for long-term use.
