Opening a flash drive and trying to plug it in took me a lot of extra effort (and eventually a pair of needle-nose pliers to enlarge the USB drive's opening) to actually plug it into my USB ports on the front my desktop. After that, my computer kept telling me that the file was corrupt (code 43 on Windows 10) and after a long search, updating and restarting the computer several times, I plugged the stick into one of the rear USB ports and it worked. felt stupid If USB does not show up under Drives and Devices in Windows 10 even after you switch USB ports, you should check Device Manager to see if you encounter error code 43. This could mean that you have to reinstall a number of drivers.
