These diopters arrived today and I had to try them right away. I wasn't expecting much for the price but was pleased with the result for the amount spent. I was having trouble finding information on how much magnification I could expect with a given diopter, so this was an experiment for me. I am attaching pictures of my results. Five photos contain one shot with each diopter plus one without diopter. All photos were taken with a 100mm macro lens at f/16. Approximate horizontal field of view with each diopter and a lens (+0): +10 = 10mm, +4 = 15mm, +2 = 18mm, +1 = 20mm and +0 = 21mm.
