I love that you can screw in filters.

I like the fact that you can screw filters together to adjust the amount of macro you get, but there is a very small window of clarity in the images you capture due to the fisheye blurring effect around the outside, which occupies most of the image.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Compatibility

Dive Photography Works

I used this on my dive box for underwater macro photography. I was pleased with how well they worked. They are glass and aluminum so a good rinse after each dive has kept them in excellent condition. I'm an aspiring photographer and I love reminiscing about my dives, but these gave me a good grasp without spending hundreds of dollars on gear.

Pros
  • Beautiful Packaging
Cons
  • Volume

Image quality is ok, but the distortion on the The Plus Ten filter is downright ugly and no Comparison with a Nikon 105mm micro lens, but if you are starting to learn macro photography and take close-up shots, this is a good option for close-up shots, but it is not capable of true macro photography (the object captured on the sensor actually has the same size)

Pros
  • High score for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Working speed

PERFECT for wedding ring shots!

They were perfect for what I need them for! I just can't justify buying an expensive macro lens just to shoot wedding rings and it worked great with my 35mm lens. In the attached photo, 10 and 4 were stacked together if I remember correctly. The trick is to have f10 or more and get really close. It took me a few tries to figure it out lol but they are perfect for the 5 minutes it takes me. And it takes up less space than other lenses.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Vivitar Diopter/Macro Filters for 67mm

This is an economical set of diopter (macro) filters for 67mm filter threads. Comes with macro +1, +2, +4 and +10. When used individually the optical quality is pretty good, but when you try to stack them (multiple filters at once) you get quite a lot of barrel distortion (clear center in focus and then the outer edges are fuzzy and look like this) . lean towards the camera) . If this review was helpful, please click the button? Thanks very much!

Pros
  • Outstanding All-Round Performance

Good for the $ spent.

These diopters arrived today and I had to try them right away. I wasn't expecting much for the price but was pleased with the result for the amount spent. I was having trouble finding information on how much magnification I could expect with a given diopter, so this was an experiment for me. I am attaching pictures of my results. Five photos contain one shot with each diopter plus one without diopter. All photos were taken with a 100mm macro lens at f/16. Approximate horizontal field of view…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Great fun for the money

When you consider this set costs less than a roll of film with 36 frames processed and printed, what's not to like? If I were a pro I would probably choose something more expensive; (although I don't think the more expensive ones would be any better) or rather use a set of extension tubes or bellows. But if your goal is just some cool shots of bugs and other things in the garden, you really can't beat them. The lens used to take the bee photo is a Phoenix 28-210 f/4.2-6.5AF for Pentax. on the…

Pros
