Not permanently when the phone is connected.
While I liked the design, it just doesn't grip the eyepiece tight enough to hold the iPhone in place. I've tried different positions but the weight of the phone (iPhone 7 and now iPhone 11) causes it to sag and lose the position you put it in. I took some pictures with it over Celestron 8" but I had to hold the end of the phone and get them just right.
