Review on 📸 SNANSHI USB C SD Card Reader: 2-in-1 USB C SDXC, SDHC, Micro SDXC, Micro SDHC Card Reader - UHS-I Compatible by Brandon Bullard

I can't count how many card readers I have because I keep losing them. but of many this might be my new favorite (with one exception). I love that it has a decent cord with braids. I'm fed up with readers that plug directly into a Mac's USB port, and then it's inconvenient to insert and remove cards and block the adjacent port. I love that it has its own USB-C port. I love that it reads so many different types of cards. I may never have to read a CF card again, but it's nice to know I can. I also like how the SD cards "snap into place" (like in my camera) rather than just being loosely inserted. This extra detail indicates a higher level of usability and quality. One thing that makes or breaks a card reader for me is whether or not it can read SDHC-II cards (like the Sony TOUGH cards that I've used exclusively in my Canon). This half fits. it WILL read cards (many older devices don't), but it doesn't support full speed. These cards can reach speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s, but with this reader they reach a maximum read speed of 77 / 90 write speed. fast but without potential. (So, to answer the question, the only card reader I like more is the one that can read those cards at full speed, but I like its versatility and general utility more. Unless you're into fancy SDHC-II -Cards are interested, This is a GREAT card reader.) I'm a little surprised that with all these different card types supported they haven't thought of adding a generic USB connector to complete the picture. It would have been helpful to have a card reader that would allow me to transfer files from the camera card to a flash drive without cluttering up the laptop's port. Given the versatility, price, semi SDHC-II support and form factor, I think this deserves a full 5 stars.
