It's big enough to store items that need to be cooled or heated, yet small enough to be carried around with ease. When traveling recently I took a few cooked meals to the airport and the way this bag kept my hot meals hot and cold ones cool was so EFFICIENT that I thought I'd have to come back here and rave about this wonderful one write experience. has a separate compartment if you want food to stay cold or hot. The insides are waterproof. I know this product says it's a cooler but I'll tell you the insulation works both hot and cold and I'm very impressed!
