Bought this to use in my office which is terribly dry. I bought a digital hygrometer to see how it works. Yesterday morning my office had 21% humidity. After puffing on the little humidifier all day, it rose to 29%. I can usually get up to 30%, which is my goal. This humidifier is really cute and matches my office decor. However, the cable that comes with the kit is flimsy. There is a cable that plugs into the USB port. After a week of use, the insulation on the cable falls off, revealing the bare wire. I'll tape it to keep the wire from fraying, but it's not necessary.
