A few days ago I bought the Expert Face Brush. I wanted to try it out for a few months and finally got the assignment to include it in the add-on program. I have several other Real Techniques brushes and found them all to be well made including this brush. Every time I try a new brush I admire this line more and more because they all work so well. Applying liquid foundation is easy with this brush! I hardly need to use any product and it covers nicely and completely. I just apply it like a regular flat foundation brush and it gives a flawless result. It can also be polished with this brush (you can see the tutorial for this brush on the Real Techniques YouTube channel). Along with using less foundation, I've found it takes a lot less time to apply, which is AMAZING! It doesn't require as much blending as other foundation brushes I've tried. I also use it to apply moisturizer before applying makeup. It's easy to clean. I've washed it with baby shampoo and brush cleaner and so far it hasn't chipped. I like the size and weight of the brush. Like all RT brushes, I feel comfortable holding them in my hand. I tried the RT Foundation Brush from the Travel Essentials Set which I really liked. It works much better than the Shany flat brush I used before. The Expert facial brush blows them both out of the water. I love this brush! Update: Having used this brush for over a year I would like to add that it is holding up very well. My only complaint is that the soft rubber grip (black part) is worn out. The bottom is a glossy black plastic material that looks very nice. The only thing that bothers me is that small black dots remain on my hands after using the brush. I was able to scrape almost everything and the brush still works just as well as before. I think it's because I keep putting my brushes on the wet vanity. This has happened to several of my other Real Techniques brushes. I still love this brush and all Real Techniques brushes.
