I bought this as an upgrade for my EdgeStar Triple Tap Kegerator. Taps will cause some beers to become sticky if you don't use them often enough. One day, after a 10 day absence on a business trip, I came back and it really stuck. I did what I knew I shouldn't have done - tried to force it. This led to me breaking the faucet and then having a lot of fun quickly shutting off the CO2 supply and depressurizing the keg while the beer flowed. :) That was the last straw for me. I knew there had to be a better solution so after some searching and finding from others who had a stuck faucet issue, they recommended these Perlick faucets. That's enough for me. I ordered. I've had them for about a month now and I can confirm that they are a great solution to a stuck faucet problem. Not only that, they look better too!
