Review on 🧼 Aquis - White Waffle Body Towel, Highly Absorbent & Fast Drying Microfiber Towel, 29 x 55 Inches by Jenna Hernandez

Really efficient. Costs money.

I bought this towel from Revain about 2 months ago. Since then I've been using it every day. Conclusion: He does what he says. I highly recommend. I live in an extremely humid environment on the Gulf Coast. I have an old house with window blocks for the air conditioner (doesn't effectively remove moisture in the house). My home is exceptionally humid compared to most homes in the US. That means it's always difficult to keep anything truly 'dry' indoors, and mold is a constant struggle. Drying off after a shower takes noticeably longer here than elsewhere. Another reason I love this towel! PROS: 1) Saves me minutes on my morning routine because the towel dries my skin in just one pass. With my other towels, I didn't realize how many times I had to run my skin through to dry it completely. 2) Saves me minutes by absorbing water from my hair faster when I wrap it in a towel. My hairstylist warned me not to leave my hair wrapped in a towel for too long as it could dry unevenly and cause frizz, but that hasn't caused me any problems. I usually wrap my hair in a towel after a shower (and after drying my skin with it) for about 5 minutes, then unroll the towel to apply and comb through my regular mousse and other wet hair products. Then I wrap my hair in a towel again and let it sit for about 5 minutes while I put on my makeup. Next, I dry my hair with a hair dryer. Drying with a hair dryer takes less time than before. No problem. No hair damage. I like it. 3) The towel dries faster on a hanger between uses (compared to a traditional bath towel). 4) The towel also tumble dry quickly and easily tumble dry on low to medium heat in about 10-12 minutes. I used to dry my traditional towels on high power for 45-60 minutes to dry them completely. 5) The towel is very thin. When folded, even a large towel takes up little space on the shelf or in a suitcase. 6) The instructions for the product say you don't need to add fabric softener (like it. Less cost). I don't use commercial fabric softener (like Downy) and haven't skipped it. I add some white vinegar to my dishwater, but I do this on everything I wash (it doesn't smell bad afterward, btw). CONS (just one): 1) I have to add some bleach to the laundry when I wash my towel to avoid nasty "musty" smells. The care instructions say you shouldn't bleach the towel, and for a while I didn't, but after a few weeks I found that I had to add a few teaspoons of bleach to the wash or it didn't smell right. Maybe that's because I only wash my towel a few times a week but use it every day. Washing more often can help. I am not sure. However, bleach does its job even when washing in warm water (rather than hot). With my traditional towels, I have to wash them in hot water with bleach to avoid odors. I suspect that the high humidity in my home, combined with only washing the towel twice a week, probably necessitates the addition of bleach. In more typical cases, bleaching may not be necessary. I noticed that some reviewers said they didn't like the feel of the towel because it didn't glide over their skin. I'll admit it doesn't move like a traditional towel, but it's not as uncomfortable as I expected based on the reviews. I find it slips a bit. It doesn't bother me that it hardly slips, because with this towel it dries much faster. I would prefer efficiency to "gliding". I loved this towel so much I bought it for my 20 year old niece who has long thick hair that takes forever to dry. She loves it! I highly recommend.
