Review on Samsung LC32G35TFQNXZA Ultrawide FreeSync Borderless Monitor with 165Hz Refresh Rate, Flicker Free, Eye Saver Mode, and Odyssey G3 Curvature. by Jared Harris

Revainrating 5 out of 5

More than enough, honestly surprised!

So, for starters, I acknowledge this review was written because I believe NONE of the video/photo reviews show this EXACT monitor. They all show 32 inches flat or 27 inches curved. This is the advertised G3 32 inch curved monitor from Samsung's Odyssey monitor series. I'm not a gamer so I didn't get this because of the 144Hz display or any of the other cool specs it comes with, so all I can say is I love how it has a backlight (have not expecting that!) and how cool it looks with simple things like watching movies and surfing the web. I love how I feel like I'm the center of everything when I'm looking out of multiple windows. I got it because I wanted to be able to 1. fit multiple windows onto the screen without having to switch between them, 2. stop minimizing too many windows and overlapping them, and 3. stop making the Squinting to see (I use it for work on my laptop). , which checked all the boxes, at least for me. The plus is that it is a gaming monitor. So when I'm done and doing what I need to do, I can do what I want and watch a movie (which looks amazing on a curved screen) OR play a game without having to worry about lag frames. because this monitor does him good with its bad qualities. For the price, it'll sweep your typical, boring Dell or HP flat-screen office monitor out of the water.

Pros
  • It would be 5 stars but other than this great product there are no speakers.
Cons
  • Monitor contrast is too low.
