Review on 🚀 Boost Engine Performance with Banks 42210 Cold Air Intake System by Brian Young

Very good fit and easy to install. I have no doubt that this will improve the performance of my 7.3 Powerstroke, so I am rating the product on its quality. I had to deduct three stars because some parts had to be individually assembled and modified. First I had to cut a hole for the O2 monitor. Misalignment with mounting plate and hole. Second, the wing-side air intake seal was an inch longer and needed to be adjusted. Luckily I had the right cropping tool. The instructions don't mention trimming, and it's also difficult to fully seat the gasket when it wants to pop out. Third, they do not provide a rubber seal for filter monitoring. Mine was in decent condition so I was able to reuse it. This can be an obstacle to installation for some. If you don't have a mechanical mind, you may have trouble with directions. The manufacturing simplifications were fairly obvious. For over $300, Banks could certainly do better.
