I love these things but won't buy them again simply because I can make them for a fraction of the price and in any length I want and with the same or better materials . The only thing wrong with them is their price. After doing a little research on buying DIY materials, I've come to the conclusion that Maxpedition does the absolute kill with this. The materials are very cheap even at retail. Using US milspec webbing and ITW triplanes and hand stitched on a Speedy Stitcher I can make these for less than $1 each. The maxpedition is probably closer to 25 cents apiece, if it's that high at all. Based on that, they earn $7 per pack minus other expenses like packaging. A good business model for Maxpedition, but the customer pays extra money for this. Don't get me wrong, I'm not attacking Maxpedition. Your stuff is great, I have several of your products. But I won't keep paying for these things if I can make them myself. FYI, Instructables has a good way of doing this.
