Hygrostat works great, keeps turning on and off when threshold is exceeded - I really like this feature, you know it's still there on other devices I use had to patch with certain lights, which are also bright. The product works on a fairly large area. I love how easy it is to fill the tank compared to other models I've had. Top loading would be better. I thought the top directional spout was automatic - it's not - it also seems to get stuck unless I pry it the other way. I like that it has a small filter that is easy to soak and clean. I've been using it for a while and just now after over a month of use I've gotten some slime - they send a brush to help with cleaning and algae is to be expected.
