I am amazed at how comfortable this chair is. Because this isn't your average "ergonomic" task chair, I find it more comfortable than the office chairs that my job spent so much money on for us. I bought this for my home office and it looks great but I can also sit in it all day with no pain. When I had office chairs, I had to put extra padding on the seat just because they were still so hard. But this chair has a nice plush seat and back, so no cushion is needed. The fabric is also very soft. I also found that this type of fabric isn't the best fabric for cats to scratch, so they don't tear like my previous ones. The wheels are very sleek and they love that the base is brushed nickel rather than polished chrome. Assembly was easy, although attaching the backrest to the armrests/seat was a little tricky. I just pushed them together, leaning on him with my knees, and then all the holes fitted. This is normal with plush armchairs. This way you get a nice tight and tight fit. I love this chair!
