Review on Wireless Logitech MK240 Nano Keyboard 920-008212 with Nano Receiver by Maejima Riko ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Everything is fine, I liked the product, I bought it for a reason.

Even in such things, there are almost always some quite significant flaws. The cost of the set is reasonable, and each component is of a very excellent quality; yet. Because of the vast size of the keyboard, the engineers perhaps missed an opportunity to implement a more elegant approach or to create additional buttons. The Logitech M212 mouse is excellent and has excellent optics; however, the mouse's wheel does not have a clear movement, and as a result, scrolling is triggered when the wheel is pressed. This is the mouse's only drawback. The scrolling effect is significantly more obvious, for instance, in both pricey IBM mice and inexpensive Toshiba mice. If it were up to me, I would have gone with something like the Nakatomi KMRON-2022U but I did not chose the kit myself. Prior to that, there existed a decent wired Nakatomi KN-20U, the drawbacks of which were that it did not have a backlight and that the key travel was noisy. A definite advantage is that Logitech estimates the lifespan of AAA batteries to be between one and three years. Plug-and-play technology, by the way, does not necessitate the installation of drivers.

Pros
  • + quality + ability to simply plug in
Cons
  • - The proportions for a truncated keyboard are too large. - There is no illumination on any key of the keyboard. - The sensitivity of the mouse wheel is low. - The radio module may be more compact.
