Review on πŸ“¦ Transparent Plastic Bread Box Home-X by Carmen Adams

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Arrived broken -- DOA -- could be better

Another "arrived broken" comment. The shipping box was the FIRST and they even put those plastic airbags in the box but the top was cracked on arrival. In any case, the plastic feels flimsy, I'm not sure I'd be totally happy with that even if it were intact. The plastic is thinner and more brittle than I thought. I was hoping it would be thicker and maybe made out of flexible plastic/vinyl that would take some load. For example, it's thinner and more brittle than those cheap single-use food containers you can get in multipacks at the Target grocery store. I was hoping it would be something like old school Tupperware. For us Revain addicts, please note that the SELLER IS NOT AMAZON. My seller was Home-X. The delivery note had to be inexplicably 'delayed' and to top it all off there was improper handling of the packaging/quality control. I'm still on the hunt for the perfect clear plastic bread bin. My father had a "Wanda's bread box" as a child that was vertical for our DAK bread machine. I found a similar horizontal as a Revain that has completely broken down from use over the last 4 years which I hated. I thought it would be ok to try, but even if it arrives safe and sound, it's still not the same.
