📦 Transparent Plastic Bread Box Home-X Review

I thought the top would fit the bottom exactly and form and seal. From the photos it looks like the top is clipped onto the bottom, but it isn't. The lid doesn't fit snugly against the edge of the base and is very loose. The sides of the lower part are slightly curved, but the lid is not, so there is a gap on the side. I don't think this keeps bugs out or keeps the bread fresh as it isn't airtight. I am very disappointed and am looking for a better product.

Large loaf of bread hardly fits in. It is cut very tight in length and width. It would be better if I took the bread out of the plastic wrap, but the lid isn't airtight so I don't close it. The lid does not snap into place. She just sits. The plastic is light and not as strong as I had hoped, but it does the job. I would recommend it as it does what it was made to do. However, I would prefer a wider, longer, made of a thicker and stronger material, and an airtight lid.

Item arrived damaged! There was a large tear in one corner, but that's not surprising given how thin the piece is. I don't understand how anyone can be satisfied with this item given its extremely poor quality. The plastic is very, very thin and even if the goods arrived intact, I would still not be satisfied due to the extremely poor quality. Trust me, don't buy this. You will be sorry. Our beloved cat loves to cause trouble at night by jumping on the kitchen table, tearing open a bag of bread and helping himself to a crust of bread. Bad cat! This bread box has completely solved this problem. However, this container is too small for large loaves of bread. For example, we usually buy Sara Lee's Artesano bread, which has slightly wider loaves than Wonder Bread (or whatever). A simple solution is to place the bread sideways in this container. This works great as the bin is taller

Another "arrived broken" comment. The shipping box was the FIRST and they even put those plastic airbags in the box but the top was cracked on arrival. In any case, the plastic feels flimsy, I'm not sure I'd be totally happy with that even if it were intact. The plastic is thinner and more brittle than I thought. I bought two of these bread boxes as gifts for my parents as they bake bread all the time. They are very happy with this box and are impressed with how well it keeps the bread they bake fresh. The box itself is made of hard plastic, which is simply closed with a latch. You can put any size loaves of bread in it which is great! Very easy to clean and store when not in use.
